IMFAN is a Tier-Rating programme with structured facilitation for each tier to assist SMEs in building halal principles and practices at the early stages of their business.
The programme will grant businesses a tier rating depending on their status and they will be given the appropriate knowledge, skill enhancement and handholding sessions for their tier. The Tier Rating awarded will have a specified validity period to ensure that participants are not stagnant and complacent in improving their halal practices and to subsequently get their businesses halal certified.
Micro Entrepreneurs
5 employees or > RM300,000 annual sales
Small Entrepreneurs
- 5 employees or 5 to <75 employees or RM300,000 to <RM1.5mil annual sales in Manufacturing sectors
- 5 to <30 employees or RM300,000 to <RM3mil annual sales in Services & Other sectors
Medium Entrepreneurs
- 75 to <200 employees or RM1.5mil to RM50mil annual sales in Manufacturing sectors
- 30 to <75 employees or RM3mil to RM20mil annual sales in Services & Other sectors
